DENVER – March 6, 2012 – The Legal Service Providers Association (LSPA), the only organization dedicated to the growth and promotion of service providers in the legal industry, and the Organization of Legal Professionals (OLP), a nonprofit professional association providing continuing education and certification exams to the legal community, have agreed to provide members of the LSPA significant discounts on OLP training programs and certification preparation courses.
LSPA members will receive a 15 percent discount on OLP’s CeDP certification preparation course, which is offered as an online, 24/7 on-demand course. LSPA members will also receive a reduced rate for all other OLP educational courses offered via webinar, online and in person.
“In order to compete in today’s legal environment, legal service providers need to demonstrate to clients that they are not only trained in their specific service or product, but have the know-how and expertise to be the best in the overall picture,” said Chere Estrin, chairperson of OLP and co-founder of OLP. “Continuing legal education combined with on-the-job training offers that capability.”
OLP’s certification program provides the legal community with a means of assuring clients that its e-discovery professionals possess the requisite level of competence and understanding of e-discovery principles. The exam is a voluntary test that establishes and recognizes professionals who have met a specific level of training and work experience. Individuals receive a certificate attesting they have met the e-discovery standards of OLP.
“We are pleased to partner with the OLP to provide our members with the tools necessary to earn their CeDP certification and further their e-discovery education,” said Jerry Correia, co-founder of LSPA. “This is another step in the LSPA’s continuing effort to build valuable relationships and expertise among our community of members.”
